The Beginning
8 Motor Group was founded in 2022 with a straightforward premise: that buying a prestige or performance car in London should feel as exceptional as the vehicle itself. The industry had long accepted a certain standard of experience, and we saw an opportunity to raise it.
From the outset, the focus was on a hand-picked collection of vehicles rather than volume, on relationships rather than transactions, and on a standard of presentation that would make every car look exactly as it should when it arrived at our Edgware showroom.
What Does 8 Mean?
The number eight carries significance across many cultures as a symbol of balance, continuity, and prosperity. In the world of prestige vehicles, it also carries a certain resonance: the V8 engine, one of the most celebrated configurations in automotive history, has powered some of the most iconic cars ever built.
For us, 8 represents the standard we hold ourselves to. Eight is not arbitrary. It is the promise that every car, every interaction, and every detail meets a level worth remembering.

Our Home
8 Motor Group is based at 30 Whitchurch Lane, Edgware, in north London. Our showroom has been designed to present vehicles in a setting that matches their character, with professional lighting, clean lines, and enough space to appreciate each car properly.
Adjacent to the showroom is Sidewayz Garage, our in-house professional detailing studio. Having this capability on-site means that every vehicle in our collection receives expert preparation before it is offered for sale, and customers can access the same standard of care long after purchase.
Where We Are Now
Since opening, 8 Motor Group has built a reputation in London and beyond for doing things properly. Our customers return, they refer friends, and they leave reviews that reflect a level of care we are proud of. We are not the largest dealer in the city. We have no ambition to be.
